Regional Initiatives

RIBA South West

RIBA South West covers Bath, Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire. We provide a wide range of services including client referrals, careers advice and contract sales for the public, architects and other construction professionals. We also provide a varied annual programme of training events, seminars and lectures to ensure the profession is prepared to face the challenges of sustainable development.

The region runs the annual RIBA Town & Country Design Awards for projects in the South West which are given in recognition of architectural excellence in the context of the region, and the RIBA Awards which lead towards the annual Stirling prize ceremony.

We also contribute to national policy-making through consultation with members and other professional bodies, and form strategic partnerships to ensure the RIBA mission is delivered across the South West.
