Club scene in the region
Andrew Jarvis is the representative for the region’s Best Practice Clubs in national meetings that take place between all Clubs from all regions. He is also Deputy Chair of Constructing Excellence South West Executive Committee. He is chair of the Gloucestershire Best Practice Club and has just won the National CE Achievers Award.

Andrew writes: The SW Best Practice Clubs remain as vibrant as ever and are well placed to deliver local networking and sharing of best practice. We will provide a regular slot for the SW Club Scene in the newsletter however I encourage you to take an interest in your local club - links to which can be found on this website.
There may well be events where clubs join on one topic or work with the regional centre and if you belong to a club you will be kept fully informed.
In Gloucestershire we have had a full Autumn programme and, with the current economic climate, we are doing what we can to ensure the voice of the local construction industry is heard, and any opportunities for inward investment benefit our economy. We are also developing relationships with our local education providers, economic development and business support organisations to improve communications and ensure we have the same objectives for
construction in Gloucestershire.
